Picture yourself once again traversing the captivating Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its mesmerizing beauty. The ALTA VIA 1 route will take you on a journey through ancient rock formations, breathtaking peaks, and enchanting valleys. From the lush Mondeval meadows to the awe-inspiring Mount Pelmo and Civetta, as well as the untamed valleys of Bellunesi National Park, Italy’s natural wonders will unfold before you in all their glory.
Relish the excitement of following well-marked trails leading you from one cozy hut to another, where you’ll revel in the melodies of marmots and catch glimpses of majestic eagles riding the thermals. Amidst deep forest greens and emerald lakes, savor local wines and comforting grappa that the region is famous for. ALTA VIA 1 promises an adventure that’s truly second to none! Our participants will journey from rifugio to rifugio, their backpacks and gear as companions. With evenings spent admiring the captivating Enrosadira, the fiery sunset casting its glow on the mountains, and the trek culminating at the renowned alpine resort Cortina d’Ampezzo, every moment will be a cherished memory.

Please note that while we won’t cover Via Ferrata sections, this ALTA VIA 1 trek demands a solid level of fitness due to its strenuous nature.
