We’re heading back to the Alps and this time it’s Switzerland’s turn!
🇨🇭⛰️ From 24th to 31st August 2026, join us on the legendary Via Alpina for an adventure that truly lives up to its name: BREATHE THE ALPS.
We’ll set off from the village of Engelberg and spend the week crossing high mountain passes, alpine meadows and valleys until we reach Kandersteg. On the way you’ll see jagged peaks, clear blue lakes, wooden chalets and cows grazing in the meadows – real Alpine life all around you. 🏔️ The trail takes us under the shadows of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, across the Hohtürli and Sefinenfurgga passes, past roaring waterfalls and finally to Lake Oeschinensee – a UNESCO site and one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking alpine lakes. 🌊
This is not a walk in the park – the trek is moderate to challenging and for hikers with good fitness, but every step is worth it. We’ll keep things simple with luggage transfers, so you carry only what you need on the trail and can enjoy the views without the weight.
